Funimation & Crunchyroll final merger done

Saw the news and press release of SONY Funimation group completing their purchase of crunchyroll for $1Bn. You can read Wired Article on this.

I think it might be a good move for SONY and Integrate it more with their Playsation Plus Brand.

I would like to see another streaming service compete with NETFLIX. As of now crunchyroll is semi-blocked where I live. Same as Funimation. I hope these services come to PlaySation.

I also hope there will be a more revamped crunchyroll originals for creators after a disaster reported over the shows. I am not sure how indie anime creators can get shows on these platforms but it can be something to aim for eventually.

Two of big streaming services Funimation and Crunchyroll are combined into one. But what does it mean for the anime industry?

Funimation & Crunchyroll are merge into one, So…what could this mean for anime within the sub and dub community?
